Emery Barber is a devoted husband and father, gifted preacher, teacher, conference speaker, musician, psalmist of the Lord.  He currently serves as Co-Founder and  Pastor of FaithWorks Christian Center of Jamaica, NY. Where ministry is also extended internationally via web and telecenter media.

He has also served the Kingdom of God with Springfield Gardens UMC, under the leadership of Senior Pastor Dr. Cecil B. Stone, as Associate Minister, Director of Worship & Music for five years.  For the past three years, Emery Barber has served as Associate Minister, and Youth Pastor at St. Paul's UMC with Pastor Delroy Murdock in Brooklyn, NY.

Pastor Barber is a graduate of New York Theological Seminary, and finds his greatest joy nurturing the flock of his "first church" together with his wife. The vision with which God has blessed us is to lift up the name of Jesus Christ by making "a joyful noise unto the Lord", while spreading the Gospel to all nations. "It gives us great joy to share with you the New Songs that God has inspired me to write for His glory and our edification. These songs, which are a gift of the Holy Spirit, come about in acknowledgement of who God has revealed and is revealing himself to be in my life.

God woos us to come into His presence through His Word, loving, kindness, and acts of grace and mercy. As we respond and enter into God's presence, the Word commands that we should do so with joyful songs (Psalms 100:2). Yet again God initiates a response from us with mixed caresses of His manifested presence. Epiphanic thoughts, feelings of adoration, or New Song experiences are yet other responses that help us to appreciate the benefits of worshiping God in Spirit and in Truth.

The Everblessed Collection of Psalms is a prayerful, poetic, and often melodic reflection of the blessings that are available to us right now and forevermore.
